Narwhal Landmark formerly known as Lovers Lane the leading edge tourist
destination in Nasipit, situated in Camagong, Nasipit, Agusan del Norte in the
vicinity of international port of Nasipit. This beautiful site is a 3 in 1
project of Nasipit Tourism Council which includes the USS Narwhal Landmark
itself and the seemingly endless boardwalk on the way to Gazebo. It was named
after the USS Narwhal submarine. USS Narwhal was the biggest submarine in World
War II which docked in Nasipit to rescue American Families in Agusan Province
who were stranded at the onset of the war. The vessel was also believed to have
provided supplies to sustain resistance to the Japanese Occupation Army
The aforementioned
landmark is quite popular across the Province, it is in demand to prenuptial
activities and usual pictorials because of its elegant and sophisticated view.
Nasipit Tourism Council work hard for tree planting to fill the surrounding of
mangrove trees with 300 seedlings to be planted every last Saturdays of every
month or a total of 1,800 seedlings by the end of the year to promote the growth of native ecosystems. So if
